TO RUN THIS COURSE LATER IN 2010
This 25 hour training is for professional counselling
practitioners, health care professionals and school
counsellors, who are interested in incorporating
a "transpersonal " perspective into
their work. The course will be highly experiential
and pragmatic so it is important that participants
have an ongoing counselling practice within which
they can use their learnings.
Included on the course will be :
* An opportunity to explore own values, especially
in the context of spirituality.
* An examination of the fundamentals of the Psychosynthesis
vision, model and way of working.
* Practice and discussion of the techniques most
often used.
*Experience of the techniques in a safe mutual
learning environment.
Students will be asked to keep an ongoing journal
as part of the course. Entry to the course will
include an informal talk with the course facilitator
It is important that we have a learning group
which will enhance the experience of the course.
About the tutor: Tricia was
running a busy and successful employment agency
in London's West End when she decided to train
as a counsellor. She completed her Diploma in
Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Psychosynthesis
and Education Trust in 1990 and has been involved
in the training and development of therapists
ever since.
During her recent cancer treatment she decided
that she wanted to work more fully with the spiritual
dimension of our work and is delighted to be offering
this training.
In Pembrokeshire since 1995, she is currently
picking up the threads of her private practice,
working with managers in an NHS Trust in England
and staying sane whilst being involved in the
renovation of a Pembrokeshire cottage.
