About the course


• Improved body language
• Developing confidence and self-esteem
• Giving and receiving feedback, criticism and praise
• Understanding and communicating your rights
• How to manage bullying in the workplace
• Challenging and changing negative internal dialogue
• Accessing external resources and self-help strategies
• Learning to speak in public meetings
• How to handle anger
• Reacting to and managing aggressive and passive behaviours in others
• How to say "no" with confidence and without feeling guilty
• Standing up for yourself and stating your point of view confidently
• Handling conflict and aggressive behaviour

Course Length


The course is run for 2 hours at three different locations:


• Lampeter Spring Term 2009 (January - March) 8 Wednesday evenings 7-9pm

• Narberth Spring Term 2009 (January - March) 8 Wednesday evenings 7-9pm

• Carmarthen Autumn Term (September - November) 8 Wednesday evenings 7-9pm


Cost of Course: £120 (2009)
